About the Dutcherman Shepherd
History
in 2021, Kennel Von Bark in conjunction with DBR registried the first Dutcherman Shepherd!
This Hybrid breed is a combination of the registried CKC German Shepherd and registried BRN/UKC Dutch Shepherds.
Like a Registried CKC, AKC, UKC, or BRN bred dog, the Dutcherman Shepherd should have a full breeding history of both parents.
Do Not accept a Dutcherman without a proper DBR registry certificate!
Both breeds are actually pretty similar in personality, with minor differences. They both are affectionate and loving.
This hybrid is loyal to the bone and incredibly protective of their family. They are great for active dog owners, excellent with kids and make a wonderful watchdog. The Dutch Shepherd is an extremely healthy breed of dog, which counters a lot of medical concerns regarding the purebred German shepherd.

Appearance
The Dutcherman Shepherd is well muscled and medium to large in size. Because of the this unqiue hybrid breeding, their markings do not yet have a single specific standard. A dutcherman shepherd may exhibit colors from the german shepherd, dutch shepherd, or even a combination of both! |
Temperament
Since there is no accurate way to foretell how much genetic influence each parent breed will have on a given puppy, the best way to consider what your adult dog will need from you is to learn more about each parent breed’s personality and temperament.
KVB's Dutcherman Shepherd will have similar temperaments to their parents, being both smart, athletic, loving, protective and highly intellengent.
